- Please remember to bring cash (Euro) or withdraw it at an ATM at the airport for your travel from Munich to Seeon.
- You will have to bring your own notebook computer for your paper presentation.
- Remember that we are close to a beautiful lake, so you may bring sunscreen and a bathing suit with you and maybe an umbrella in case of bad weather.

Information about reaching Koster Seeon is now available.
Please register until July 29 for Spatial Cognition 2012. On July 30, the pre-reserved rooms (if any are left) will be canceled. The registration will be closed around August, 1 (or even earlier in case all places are booked out before).

Submit the final version of your paper, including all source files, until June 3. See the submission page for details. Authors of extended abstracts only need to update their PDF files (2 page limit, Springer style). Extended abstracts will be published online and will be presented as posters at SC 2012.
The registration is online. Early registration ends June 30. For every paper, at least one authors needs to be registered by June 15. Otherwise, the paper is not considered for publication.

The notifications have been sent out. We accepted 27 papers for oral presentations and 4 papers are conditionally accepted.
Current Ph.D. students are invited to submit a contribution for inclusion in the doctoral colloquium which will be held during the Spatial Cognition 2012. The conference will be held from August 31, 2012 - September 03, 2012 in Abbey Kloster Seeon close to the Chiemsee Lake in Bavaria, Germany.
The doctoral colloquium will involve short (20 minute) presentations by students and discussion by a panel of faculty from universities in the U.S. and Europe. Students will have the opportunity to discuss their work with each other.
Doctoral colloquium presentations will be listed in the conference program but will not be published in the proceedings (and hence may be published elsewhere)
Submissions should be brief abstracts of the work, describing the theoretical motivation for the work, the primary methods, and a short summary of the results. Submissions should be no longer than 400 words. The student’s name, email address, and website URL should be provided. The deadline for submission is April 1, 2012.
Submissions for the doctoral colloquium should be sent in an email attachment (in .doc, .docx, .rtf, or .pdf format) to duttal@northwestern.edu. Please include the words “Doctorial Colloquium Submission” in the subject of the email. Questions can be addressed to the same email.
- Feb, 12: We received 62 submissions for Spatial Cognition 2012.
- Feb, 18: 58 of the 62 submissions for Spatial Cognition 2012 survived the first inspection.
